OWENSBORO MESSENGER INQUIRER OBITUARY - 10/03/1929
Charles Kendrick Flanagan, 70, died at his home in Newman, Ky at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning of complications. Mr. Flanagan was born in Marion County, Ky but has spent most of his life in Daviess County. He is survived by his widow, seven daughters and two sons as follows: Mesdames Charles Dunn, Robert Raley, Raymond Hoskins, Albert Mattingly, Wilbur Perkins, Miss Maggie Flanagan all of Daviess County, Mrs. Ernest Boarman of Louisville, (Note, per D. Bohn: His son, Malcolm, was not mentioned.) and Lilburn Flanagan of Cynthiana, Ky; also two brothers, Ben and Thomas Flanagan of St. Mary's, Ky and fourteen grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted from St. Augustine Church with burial in the church cemetery.
