Wilbur Austin Turner is the son of David Anderson Turner, Jr. and Luetta Dorrel Turner. He was married to Betty Bachali Turner and they had one son.
Lieutenant Wilbur A. Turner was killed during World War II. He was a pilot in the Marines.

Is Killed in Plane Crash
Second Lieut. Wilbur A. Turner of the marines, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Turner Jr., 108 East Valley street, was killed in an airplane crash at sea Oct. 8, according to a telegram received last night from the war department.
Lieutenant Turner enlisted in the service in April of '42, and was commissioned in May of this year.
He was a graduate of Benton High School and attended Junior College. At the time of his death he was stationed at El Centro, Cal.
Besides his parents, survivors are his wife, Mrs. Betty Turner of El Centro, and one son; two brothers, David A. Turner III, St. Joseph, and Lieut. Lewis Turner, stationed at Davis Monthan Field, Tucson, Arizona; a sister Mary Anna Turner of the home, and a grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Turner, Kansas City.
