His parents, Newton Calvin Brown and Ocelia Hyde Brown; two brothers, Wilbur Brown and Worth Brown; and seven sisters, Nettie Gibbons, Harriet B. Ming, Armour Love, Celia Brown, Wanda Scheirton, Dorothy Kennedy and Toonie Beckman, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Velma Brown of Richland Springs; daughter, Peggy Koch and husband Rubin of Irving; three granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
