David served in the military police overseas. He was employed at the paper mill in Eau Claire for 32 years and retired on his 62nd birthday, April 15, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Denninger.
Survivors include wife, Judy; sons, Scot and Mark; four brothers, Leland (Mary) Denninger, Clint Denninger, Ronald (Karen) Denninger and Charles (JoAnne) Denninger; two sisters, Janice (Jerry) Emblem and Donna Denninger; nieces and nephews, Brian, Troy, Rhonda, Joseph, Jamie, Christie, Jerry Lee, Jason, Julie, Kelly, Rosalyn, Harriston, Quinton, Trevor, Patrick and Bobby.
Services will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wis., on Friday, April 22, at 2 p.m. Military honors will be provided by the State of Wisconsin Military Funeral Honors Team-Spooner Detachment.
