Walter L. Olive, Sr., 80, of Live Oak, Fl. Passed away on Thursday November 29, 2012. Mr. Olive lived all his life in Suwannee County where he was well known for his many different activities in the community. He worked in the newspaper industry for over 27 years, including time at the Suwannee Democrat as Editor. He also was the owner/operator of Badcock's for 16 years, a Mason,a Rotarian and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Olive is survived by his wife of 56 years, Live Oak, One son, Live Oak, one sister, Live Oak, two granddaughters, and many other family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his son: Lee Olive and brother Ray Olive.
Services were held at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Live Oak, Fl. with Rev. Shawn Johnson officiating. Interment followed in Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
