Obituary
Ernest J Young passed away Monday September 2 at his home on E Washington St. Union, IL following a lingering illness. He was born in Union on Dec. 14, 1885, the son of Henry and Mary Schroeder Young. He married Carrie Zimmerman at Union on July 26, 1907, and they farmed around Union until 29 yers ago when they moved to Union.
Services will be held at St.Johns Evangelical and Reformed Church of which he was a member. Buril will be in Union Cemetery.
Mr Young is survived by his widow Carrie, one sister Mrs.Emma Behnke of Union, two daughters Mrs. Harold (Ella) Schultz and Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Shenberger, one son Henry Young of Elgin.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, one son Lester, a daughter in infancy and a brother.
