Elizabeth and her husband Thomas James Arnold were missionaries in China in the 1890's. Their children were born there. Thomas apparently died about 1906 and the family returned to England in Mar 1906 via the United States (San Francisco). Elizabeth lived with her children in Rugby, Warwickshire, England in 1911.
In 1914, she moved to America with her children and were living in Portage county in 1917. Elizabeth lived in Hiram until sometime after 1930 when she moved to Youngstown to live with her daughter Gladys.
In addition to the children listed below, there were probably 2 or 3 more who died in China
