Funeral Services For Etcyle Dee Haden, 67
Funeral services for Etcyle Dee Haden, 67, retired farmer and lifelong resident of Douglas County, were held Friday, May 7, at 2 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava. The Revs. Allen Ledbetter and Tom Johnson officiated and burial was in the Ava Cemetery. Mr. Haden was of the Baptist faith.
Dee Haden was born March 28, 1909, at Smallett, Mo., the son of Walter D. and Susan Nowlin Haden. He married Thelma Osburn, January 8, 1931, at Ava.
Mr. Haden died suddenly at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, in the Douglas County Court house in Ava.
Mr. Haden is survived by his wife, Thelma; two sons, Darrell of Fulton, Tenn., and Loren of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Hamilton of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Venita Day of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Edna Miller of Ava; three brothers, Mote, Morley and Homer, all of Ava and 14 grandchildren.
