How conforting the thought when loved ones pass on to know that they have gone to a beautiful reward in Christ. This assurance comes to us in the passing away of Mrs. Claudie Bailey. In the words of an old familiar hymn, "It Is Well, It Is Well, With My Son."
She has been in bad health for a number of years, and died Wednesday morning at the "Kings Daughter's" Hospital at Columbia. The husband has lost a faithful companion, and the children a loving mother.
Funeral services were conducted at Nelson by Bro. T. C. King. The floral offerings were indeed beautiful and impressive. We mourn not as those who have no hope. But feel that our loss is heaven's gain.
She leaves a husband and five children, a mother, several sisters and brothers, and a host of relatives and friends.
