She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Grace Teague Dykes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Candi Jo Alford and Angela Faye Williams, one sister, Helen Hodges.
Betty formerly worked as a Patient Care Provider at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a member of Clifton View Baptist Church.
