He was born in England and had lived in Houston 63 years. He was owner and operator of a jewelry shop at 502 1/2 Main. He was a member of the Second Christian Church and the W.O.W.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Eva Brown; two daughters, Mrs. John Ross and Mrs. Ruby Litterst, all of Houston; two sons, Arthur W. and Harless S. Brown, both
of Alvin; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Kaffenberger of Houston; two brothers, Percy and Sam Brown, both of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Arthur W. Brown, Jr., Patsy Ann Litterst and Barbara Lee Brown.
Burial in Hollywood Cemetery.
