Olga, age 85, passed away on Friday at the New Glarus Home. She was born the daughter of Alfred & Marie (Luthi) Lienhardt in Green County.
Olga graduated from New Glarus High School, in 1941. She was a manager at the New Glarus Theatre, from 1941-1946.
On February 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to Merton Colney, at the Swiss United Church of Christ, in New Glarus.
Olga worked as an insurance agent, for the Colney Insurance Agency, in New Glarus. Following her retirement, she worked at the Chalet of the Golden Fleece and the Swiss Historical Village, in New Glarus.
Olga was a charter member of the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club and several bridge clubs. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, and advisor to Demolay and the Rainbow Girls. Olga was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Olga is survived by her husband of 63 years, a daughter and son- in- law, two sons a daughter-in- law, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marie Schneider and Martha Stein; and brothers, Fred and Wilbert Lienhardt.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at New Glarus Home Chapel with Pastor Petra Streiff officiating.
