Mrs. Gosser was a homemaker and had also worked for a brief time as a Nurses Aide at DHCI in Smyrna. She enjoyed doing crafts, attending church, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William A. Gosser in 2000, her parents, Gilbert and Lillian Naylor, and a brother Robert Naylor.
She is survived by two sons, Harry Gosser and William Gosser and his wife Shelly, all of Townsend; three daughters and their husbands, Edna Marie and Wesley Cahall of Clayton, Sharon and Steve Murray, and Patricia and Eddward Savin, all of Townsend; two sisters, Mildred Davis of Clayton and Florence Carden of Smyrna; five grandsons, Mark Murray, Robert Gosser, Jr., Christopher Cahall, Jason Murray, and Williams Gosser, III; six granddaughters, Kimberly Norris, Amie Blanchfield, Jean Gosser, Teresa Gosser, Melissa Savin, and Jenifer Savin; a great grandson, Mark Murray, Jr.; three great granddaughters, Alexandria Norris, Michelle Allen, and Bethany Allen; and several, nieces, nephews, and beloved in-laws.
Services were held Dec. 4 in the Daniels and Hutchinson Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial was in Townsend Cemetery.
