Seymour M. Ingraham, of, Bristol, CT and Wainscott, NY, loving husband of Gloria (Rockwell) Ingraham, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Seymour was a son of the late Dudley S. and Marion (Morton) Ingraham. He was born and raised in Bristol, CT and a U. S. Army veteran of WWII. He graduated from Kingswood School, attended Washington and Lee and later graduated from Babson College. After graduation he returned to Bristol, CT where he worked at the E. Ingraham Company. A loving husband and a wonderful father, he was loved by many. He was an avid tennis player, who enjoyed boating and the beach. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Seymour Ingraham Jr. of Charlotte, NC; two daughters: Pamela Mahoney of West Hartford, CT and Susan Becher of Lyme, CT; a brother, the Rev. Robert R. Ingraham of FT. Meyers, FL; eight grandchildren: Michael Mahoney, Courtney, Kristen, Eric, Laura, and Stephen Becher, and Jeremy and Nathaniel Ingraham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011, 12 Noon, at The First Congregational Church of Bristol, with the Rev. Kristen Kleiman, Pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Peacedale Cemetery.
