Minnie Myrtle Seay was born December 05, 1903 to her parents, Sarah Alice (Morrison) and John Dempsey Seay in Gravette, Arkansas. Minnie was raised in a large family of ten brothers and sisters. As an adult, Minnie was always homesick for her family, and would often go to Oklahoma for extended visits with her husband and children.

Minnie married ‘Allen Jernon' Sidney (Aljernon) Orndoff, Jr. in Columbus, Kansas on December 15, 1926. They moved to Omak, Washington in 1932, as part of the Dust Bowl refugee's from Kansas relocating Allen's mother, brothers and sisters from the devastation. Later, they moved to Wenatchee.

Allen and Minnie raised two children: Allen Jernon ‘Sidney’ (Aljernon) III, and Sylvia Alice. After her husband died suddenly in 1950, she continued to make her home in Wenatchee. Minnie worked as a telephone operator for Northwest Bell Telephone Company.

Minnie was a woman of a very deep faith in the Lord, teaching her faith to her children. Minnie had a special way of make people feel warm, accepted, and safe. So relatives would come to her when they had problems.

Minnie was released from the long illness of Alzheimers and passed away three days after Thanksgiving on November 25, 1979, in Kennewick, Washington, and is buried with her husband in Tonasket, Washington. She is survived by her son, Sidney Orendoff; daughter, Sylvia (Orndorff) Prochaska; two granddaughters, Linda (Jerry) and Priscilla; and five great-grandchildren.

(A private graveside service for the family took place in Tonasket, WA. Reverend Donald Strong officiated from Kennewick, WA. In the snow, pallbearers were Sidney Orendoff, Gerald 'Jerry' Voss Jr., Dennis Prochaska, and Pastor Strong. Attending was daughter Sylvia (Orndorff) with husband Dennis Prochaska (and his children); Son Sidney with his wife Dorothy Orendoff from Orient Wash, granddaughter Linda (Orendoff) with her husband Jerry Voss and three great-grandchildren Penny, Gary and Cecilia also living in Orient, Wash.; and granddaughter Priscilla Pringle from Kennewick, WA.)
