Nathaniel Shuler Cole, 77, of 576
Lamson Rd., Lysander and of
South Venice, Fla, died Saturday
evening, July 1 1972, at his
summer home in Lysander.
A native of Lysander, Mr.Cole
was a retired research engineer
for the Seal right Corp. of Fulton.
He was a member of the Venice
United Church of Christ, the
South Venice Civic Assn., the
South Venice Volunteer Fire
Department and the South Venice
Yacht Club.
Mr. Cole was a member of the
board of directors for the
Lysander Cemetery Assn., and
served as president of that group
for 20 years. He was a member of
the Lysander Fire Department
Commission which he helped to
establish and was a charter
member of the Lysander Grange.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Theodora Peck Cole; a son,
Harold F. Cole of Lysander; four
daughters, Mrs. Janice Crow of
Geneva. Mrs. Sharon Criss of
Lysander, Mrs. Rachel Morton of
Fulton and Mrs. Marie Pollock of
Pensacola, Fla., 20 grandchildren
and three nephews.
Services were held July 5 at the
Allanson-Glanville-Tappan
Funeral Home, 652 Lamson Rd.,
Lysander, the Rev. Thomas E.
Montgomery officiating. Burial
was in Lysander Cemetery.
