James (Adamopoulos) Adams, 92, of Brockton, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dafni (Roussopoulos) Adams. Born February 18, 1924 in Louvre, Greece, he was the son of the late Athanasios and Paraskevi Adamopoulos. James came to Brockton in 1959 and had worked for A&B Tanning and Columbia Tanning Company in Brockton. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his children, Arthur Adamopoulos and his wife Melissa of West Bridgewater, Paul Adamopoulos and his wife Melissa of Texas and Christina Efremidis and her husband Chuck of North Easton; his grandchildren, Michael, Stacey, Teli, Dimitra, Alex, Alexis and Dylan; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
