Funeral for Eugene Boins Sr., 81, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Little Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. A.D. Mills, church pastor, and the Rev. C.L. King, pastor of Bethel Temple Church of God in Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Pinegrove Cemetery. Mr. Boins died Feb. 13, 2009, in Nacogdoches Medical Center. Born April 26, 1927, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Litdell and Nettie Barrett Boins. He was retired as a grinder/core maker for NIBCO of Texas. He was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Edoris Jackson Boins of Nacogdoches; son, Eugene Boins Jr. of Nacogdoches; daughters, Carol Boins-Simon of Nacogdoches and Tasca Boins Riser of Dallas; brothers, Vert L. Boins and Roy E. Boins, both of Nacogdoches, and LaRay Boins of Spring; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Sadler Funeral Service.
