Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Ballinger, 92, who died Thursday of last week, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lulu Melson, at Clarence, were held Saturday afternoon In the Hudson Funeral Home in Edina, in charge of the Rev. S. E. Botsford. Dorothy Helen Sharp sang, accompanied by Mrs. Sue Krueger.
Mrs. Ballinger was a native of Knox [sic] county and she had spent all of her life in this vicinity except the last two years, which she spent in the home of her daughter in Clarence. A son, Jack Ballinger, and a daughter, Mrs. William Moore, preceded her. She leaves her daughter in Clarence and two sons, Jim Ballinger of Philadelphia, and Joe Ballinger, of Hannibal.
