Tombstone inscription reads: "In Memory of Daniel Will was born in Rockland Township, Berks County, PA on the 5th day of February 1747 and died the 17th day of September, 1820."
The date of February 5 is actually his baptismal date. The Will Family bible gives his birth date as January 12, 1747 in Hesse-Cassel, Germany. His parents Gerhard Will and Mary Barbara Drach immigrated to Berks County, Pennsylvania, where Daniel grew up.
Daniel married the daughter of Conrad Lora, Maria Magdalena Lora, on October 26, 1766 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. They had the following children: Peter, Dorothea, Jacob, Magdalena, Daniel, Barbara, Conrad, Henry, Susana, John, and Catherine.
