Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 101 NE Fourth Ave., Mineral Wells. Interment: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Providence Cemetery in Hale Center, near Bonham. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Dan E. Ethridge was born Aug. 29, 1927, in Fort Worth, son of the late Frank and Ruth Hadsell Ethridge. He loved working on projects around his home, watching old westerns, ice cream, candy and kids. Dan was a longtime resident of the Mineral Wells area.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sybil, in May 2003; parents; and a brother.
Survivors: Sons, Bruce Ethridge and wife, Carrie, of Mineral Wells and Tommy Ethridge of Salesville; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbye Kee and husband, Doyle, of Switzerland; brothers, Maurice Ethridge and wife, Nola, of Cookeville, Tenn., and Gary Ethridge and wife, Rosalind, of Grand Prairie; and a host of loved ones and friends.
