Friends are being received at the Nicholas E. Lemak Funeral Home in Duquesne for David Archibald, 88, of 16-E Burns Heights, Duquesne, who died on Saturday in McKeesport Hospital.
Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home by the Rev. William C. Thompson and interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
Son of the late William and Grace Rainey Archibald, he was born Dec. 16, 1867, in Scotland. He was a resident of Duquesne for 40 years and had come to the U. S. at the age of six. He was a retired contractor and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Duquesne.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Powell Archibald, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Johnson of West Mifflin; three sons, John D. Archibald of Miami, Fla., David P. of Odessa, Tex. and Robert J. of Washington, D. C.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
