"Dollie" Dicks' mother died when she was only a few years old; father remarried in November, 1879, to Ellen B. Molesworth and they had a large family, though some children died as infants or at a young age.
When she was 16, Dollie married in Kansas, to Delbert J Walters, about 1891, and they had two daughters and two sons: Elsie, Cecil, Edward, and Gertrude. 1900 census finds the family listed in Pawnee County, Oklahoma... This marriage ended in divorce before 1910; Delbert Walters died in Texas in 1911.
Mary A Walters remarried - to Roy "Frosty" Allen, on June 5, 1912, in Monroe County, Iowa. They had no children.
Mary Arvilla "Dollie" Allen died in California, preceding her husband in death. Her death certificate says she died from pneumonia and influenza at Community Hospital in Long Beach. Roy Allen was the informant.
