Deceased Name: Charles M. "Jim" Besore Charles M. "Jim" Besore, Funeral services for Charles M. "Jim" Besore, 90, of 299 Shippensburg Road, Shippensburg, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Ridge Church of the Brethren, 1095 Ridge Road, Shippensburg.

He died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at home.

Born June 9, 1910 in Letterkenny Township, he was a son of the late William H. and Eliza Dice Besore and the widower of Pearl E. Forrester Besore, who died Jan. 8, 1995.

Mr. Besore was retired from the former Affiliated Industries of Shippensburg and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are a son, Frank R. of Shippensburg; three daughters, Mary G. Varner of Avon Park, Fla., Janet L. Keefer of Shippensburg and Ethel D. Lehman of Newville; a sister, Mary Besore of Chambersburg; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, John W. Besore Sr., who died June 4, 1999, and three brothers.

The Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate at Saturday's service. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Greene Township.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.
