Sadie Clarke Apple, age 93, of Dardanelle, AR. died Thursday, December 31, 1998 at the Dardanelle Nursing Center. She was born January 1, 1905, at Dardanelle, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Viola Cooper Clarke and the widow of Harrison Apple.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Survivors include a son, Robert E. Apple Sr. of Dardanelle, AR; a daughter, Margaret Burford of Dardanelle, AR; five grandchildren, Steve Burford of Russellville, AR. Paulette Burford of Flint, MI, Dawn Haney of Dardanelle, AR. Dr. Robert E. Apple, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA and Robin Erwin of Maumelle; and six great-grandchildren.
