Gary George Hulse, born Oct. 7, 1937, passed away quietly at his home on Mar. 12, 2016 after battling major health issues for years.
He was the oldest son of Julius George Hulse and Elva Mary Hunsaker. Gary was born in Rigby, Idaho where he attended grade school until his family moved to the Swan Valley/ Irwin area where he finished grade school. Gary then attended Ririe high school graduating with the class of 1955.

Gary later joined the Air Force and was stationed in Alaska as a Radar Operator. Afterward, he married Bonnie May having 5 children together. 1 daughter, Cheryl, passed away a week after birth. Dad later met the love of his life, Diane Cass and they married in 1997. Dad called her his Irish Rose. Diane passed away in Aug 2007.

Gary owned his own business for years, designing and engineering production line equipment. He had a knack for making the most complicated system work simple and very efficiently. Gary had an excellent understanding of machining, if he needed a certain part or cutting tool and it was not available, he would make it.

His love for family was second to none and he spent as much time as possible laughing, talking, camping, fishing and even playing tea party with any grandkid that wanted to. Few people, if any, ever heard him raise his voice in anger and he always looked for the silver lining in any situation often saying "In a hundred years from now, no one will care."

He is survived by 4 children, Raymond (Kathy) Hulse of Rigby, ID; Carl Hulse of Indianapolis, IN; Carol Grover of Virgin, UT; Susan (Russ) White of Boise, ID; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers Vernon (Betty) Hulse and Darcel Hulse and 2 sisters Brenda Bright and Nelda (Steve) Levitt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Shelton Ward LDS Chapel, 14061 N. 130 E. Ririe. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
