Helen F. (Butterfield) Bonner, 67, of 216 Rose St., La Crosse, died Monday, Jan. 15, 1996 at home. She was born Nov. 24, 1928 in La Crosse to Clyde R. Sr. and Lena B. (Dobrunz) Butterfield. She was employed at Electric Auto Lite until it closed, and was presently employed at the Midway Motor Lodge.
She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Bonner of La Crosse and Jackie F. Bonner of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Troy Jr. and Krystle of La Crosse; four sisters, Arvilla Chrisinger of Holmen Marie Arentz of La Crosse, Beverly Strickland of Kewaunee, Wis., and Rose Hobbs of Florida; three brothers, Clyde (Bev), Charles (April) and William (Phyllis), all of La Crosse; and three sisters-in-law, Leona, June and Blanche. She was preceded in death by her husband, La Verne (Buster) Bonner; her parents; a sister, Louise; and a brother, George.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Avon and St. Paul streets, La Crosse. Rev. John Parcher will officiate and interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
