CONFEDERATE SOLDIER FROM TEXAS. CO I "THE NAVARRO RIFLES" FROM NAVARRO COUNTY, 4TH TEXAS INFANTRY REGIMENT ( HOOD'S BRIGADE). HE WAS CAPTURED AT SPOTSYLVANIA COURTHOUSE, VA ON 10 MAY 1864. SENT TO ELMIRA PRISON AND THERE DIED OF PNEUMONIA.
