Mrs. Scronce, a homemaker, was born in Lincolnton, daughter of the late Sidney and Julia Leonard. She was the widow of Frank Scronce.

Jack Scronce, Daniel Scronce; daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoover and Mrs. Betty Sain, both of Vale; brother, Russell Leonard; sisters, Mrs. Ella Heavener, Mrs. Essie Heavener, Mrs. Mary Royster, Mrs. Kathleen Huss; 17 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
