She was born in Deweyville and had made her home here for past 25 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. E.R. McLeod of Vidor, Baptist minister. The Rev. and Mrs. Amos Hann of Angelton, will be in charge of the music.
Burial will be in the Bean Cemetery directed by the E.E. Stringer Funeral Home. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Suvivors are her husband, Sebe Ward of Kirbyville; one daughter, Mrs. J.D. Hutchinson of Kirbyville; five sons, Elmer and Edgar Davis of Vidor, Leroy Davis of Orange, Marvin Davis of Houston and Mrs Davis Kirbyville; one brother; Lawrence Williams of Old Salem; five half brothers, Herbert, Claude, Harvey, Allen and Carroll Williams of Deweyville; two half-sisters, Mrs. Vonnie Levine and Mrs. Marvin Levine of Deweyville and 16 grandchildren.
