Conrad Kissler was born in Frank Russia. He was the son of Jacob Kissler and Katharina Margareth Klein. Conrad married Anna Maria Eckhardt 26 Jan 1905 in Frank. They immigrated to America in 1912, settling in Odessa, Washington. Six known children were born to this marriage: Amalia "Mollie", Conrad, Katherine, Frieda, Emma, and Martha.

Following Anna Marie's death 4 Jul 1919, Conrad remarried to Leontina Giese 11 Apr 1920 in Odessa; they divorced.

Conrad died of injuries received when his car left the road near Sprague. He had just finished unloading his hay crop off his ranch near Cheney and had taken his hired man to his home at Ritzville. Conrad was returning to his own home when the accident occurred.
