Mrs. Elizabeth Mertle Miller Criswell, 75, Idaho Falls resident for many years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Brown at 433 9th st., 5:40 Wednesday evening. She had been ill for several months.
She was born Aug. 9, 1885, at Kirksville, Mo., to Charles william and Lena Vespter Miller. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1901. She taught at Lncoln and York schools and worked at the Idaho Falls Library. She married Cleveland Farnham Criswell, May 18, 1918, and they moved to Pocatello where they lived until October of 1963, at which time they returned to Idaho Falls where they have since resided.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and Henrietta Chapter 21, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Irene) Wallace of Clearfield Utah; Mrs. Robert (Lois) Brown of Idaho Falls; one sister, Mrs. Gussie M. Simkin of Salmon and 4 grandchildren.
