William E. Allison, 56, died at his home in Prineville, Or., October 21, following an illness of several weeks. He was a pioneer of Mitchell, Or., where he had lived 35 years. He was married to Marion Lindsey in 1926 and two years later he disposed of his ranch near Mitchell and moved to Prineville. He was a member of Fossil lodge, No. 89, 'A. F. and A. M. The Masonic lodge of Prineville had charge of the funeral services. He is survived by the widow, Marion Allison, a sister, Mrs. William. F. Koehler, a nephew, Frank A. Koehler of Portland, and two step-sons, Lloyd Lindsey of Seattle and Jess Lindsey of Prineville. He was the son of Joseph Lynn Allison, an early day newspaper man of Portland.
Interment on Oct. 25, 1930. Listed in Prineville Funeral Home Book 5 p. 44, age 57.
