Joseph Russel Goodman, 76, died August 17, 2004 in Payson.

He was born October 17, 1927 in Mountain View, Missouri to Sephus Rudolph and Vernie Henry Goodman. He married Jerildine Cora Deaver September 7, 1948 in Willow Springs, Missouri.

Joseph was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Eureka Elks Lodge 711. He was a musician and loved playing the guitar and writing music. He was a devoted father and loved being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jeri, of Eureka; children, Jim & Patty, Southport, No. Carolina, Jack & Celia, Joe & Carol, all of Kalispell, Montana, Jon & DeAnn, Provo, Jeff & Linda, Phoenix, Arizona; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and a brother. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice, a brother and a sister.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church, Eureka, Utah, with burial to follow at Eureka Cemetery, under the direction of Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, Santaquin.
