Death: Feb. 28, 1944, Brazil

William served as a Second Lieutenant & Pilot on B-24H (#42-52645), 357th Bomber Squadron, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Oklahoma prior to the war.

William died in the "Line Of Duty" as a result of an airplane crash, due to engine failure, near Fortaleza, Brazil during the war.

He was originally interred in Brazil and was later repatriated here on April 20, 1948.
