Johnson, who passed away Dec. 10, 1991. Surgical nurse and homemaker. Founded the City Mission for Women and Children in Lincoln. Founding member, Garden Club; active member, Presbyterian Women, both Lincoln. Member, Chapter DM of PEO, Lincoln. Greeted guests at Hampshire House since coming to Romney. Survivors: daughter, son-in-law, Jane and Scott Simmons, Romney; son, daughter-in-law, James D. and Jeanne Johnson, Lincoln; grandchildren, Debra Childress, Baltimore, Md., Sandra Grabowski, Michael Conyers, both Roanoke, Va., Jill Johnson, Lincoln, Joy Lloyd, Denver; 11 great-grandchildren.
