Born in Marathon; attended Marathon schools; married Henry Olson on May 18, 1921; they lived in Laurens until his death in 1965; married Claude Garner on June 14, 1967 and they lived in Laurens and Spirit Lake until his death in 1984; preceded in death by her husbands, a son Jimmy Olson, a grandson Randy Ihnen, a granddaughter Margo Brazelton, a great-grandson Jeff Brazelton and her parents; survived by her sons Laverne and Terry, her daughters LaVon Harlow, Ruby Bruno and Dorothy Ihnen; sisters Edna Skinner of California and Iva Wilford of Springfield, MO; three brothers, Merle and Warren Ruby, both of Springfield, MO and Kenneth Ruby of Storm Lake. Burial in the Laurens Cemetery.
