MISSOURI VALLEY -- Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p. m. at the Presbyterian church here for Mrs. Fred Briggs, 78, longtime Missouri Valley resident, who died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Brinker of Norfolk, Neb. The Rev. Charles Horejs will conduct rites, with burial in Rose Hill cemetery. Hardy funeral home is in charge.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. H. L. Roberts of Missouri Valley, Mrs. C. A. Brown of Holdrege, Neb,, Mrs. F. A. Brinker of Norfolk, Neb., Mrs. B. I. Morlan of Omaha and Mrs. C. H. Gowens of McCook, Neb.; two sons, Fred and Clarence Briggs of Omaha; a sister, Mrs. E. O. Fiene of Missouri Valley; two brothers, William and Wesley Sproul, Missouri Valley; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
