John Louis Camp was born in Texas on February 18, 1901. His parents were George Washington and Ada Lee Bryan Camp. As a small boy, he moved to Lone Wolf, Kiowa County, Oklahoma. He was married to Ruby Harriet Ewy on July 18, 1930, and they were the parents of a daughter, Helen Jane Camp, born March 4, 1938. John was a member of the A&FM Lodge #371 in Lone Wolf and the IOOF Lodge #245 in Lone Wolf. John and his family moved to California in 1947. John died on December 13, 1969 in Biggs, Butte County, California. His funeral service was help in Biggs, California, and he was buried in the Sunset Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in Sacramento, California.
