Emilia Piluso was born on January 6th, 1885 in Lago (Cosenza) Italy to Giuseppe Piluso and to Rosa Spina, and on January 30th, 1904 married Angelo Antonio Aloe (1881-1918), changed to Alloy in the USA, who died probably from the Spanish Flu on October 17th, 1918. She remained a widow, and three years later, on December 11th, 1921, she married Louis Kostelic (1882-1967) who had become a widower on February 2nd, 1919.
