Conforti, Daniel Anthony, 83, and 18-year resident of Fallbrook, CA, died Oct. 2, 2006, of natural causes. Born Nov. 13, 1922 in Sacramento, CA. Daniel was a graduate of USC and a member of the USC football team. He served in the Navy during WWII. He was a teacher at Bell High School and loved the students he mentored. He won "Agricultural Teacher of the Year" for the state of CA and was regional "Teacher of the Year" twice. He was very dedicated to his family and students and coached football and tennis teams. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Marie Conforti. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June Conforti; son, Daniel A. Conforti Jr. and his wife, Judy of Yorba Linda, CA; daughter, Danette M. Cox and her husband, Thomas of Irvine, CA.; sisters, Carol Conforti and Jo Marie Mantel and her husband, Michael, both of Westlake, CA; grandchildren, David Cox, Diana Cox, Daniel A. Conforti III, Brent C. Conforti, Steven Cox and Camryn Conforti. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Oct. 5, Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary, Fall Brook. Mass: 11 a.m. Oct. 6, St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fallbrook. Interment, 11 a.m. Oct. 9, Olive Lawn Memorial Park, La Mirada.
