Tinnie Wilburn Garrison, 69, of Clarksville died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, in Waco.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at First Baptist Church, Clarksville with the Rev. A.B. Kellam and the Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Annona to Herbert and Lula Mae Sheppard Garrison. He married Ann Lowe Garrison on Jan. 26, 1957, in Hugo, Okla. He was a member of First Baptist Church, started EMS in Clarksville, helped organize Wagon Masters and was an assistant in administration for East Texas Medical Center of 18 years. He retired as a health inspector for Campbell Taggert Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Herb Garrison.
Survivors include, two sons, Timothy Garrison and wife, Glenda, of Clarksville, and Larry Garrison of Pikesville, Tenn.; two daughters, Terri Fisher and husband, Don, of Valley Mills, and Karen Coppersmith and husband, Jay, of Rineyville, Ky.; four sisters, Virginia Denny and husband, Ray, of Mesquite, Betty McFerrin and husband, Bill, of Garland, Lillie Duncan of Lake Dallas, and Kathy Cooper of Mount Vernon; three brothers, Clarence Garrison and wife, Jodie, of Detroit, David Garrison and wife, Lora, of Richards, and Lee Garrison and wife, Kathy, of Hopewell; sister-in-law, Jean Garrison of Texarkana; grandchildren, Melissa Megason of Valley Mills, Fred Arthur Fisher of Houston, Allen Fisher of Valley Mills, Chace Garrison of Keflivic, Iceland, Dillon Garrison of Fayetteville Ark., Britney Williams, of Paris, Bailey Adams Coppersmith, of Rineyville, Ky., Brent Garrison of Lovelady, Seth Garrison of Woodlands, Johnathen Coppersmith of Ramudu, Iraq, Monic Hartley of Pell City, Ala., and Wayne Coppersmith of Elizabeth, Ky.; two great-grandchildren.
