Ida is the daughter of David W. and Margaret Clements Moore. Born and raised in Moores Chapel area of Gibson County, she grew up with several siblings. The records are a bit of a mess so there are possibly 9 siblings. However, I will list here, only the ones I've verified by death certificate or burial site. To my knowledge they are:

Mary Ada Moore McAliley (1850 - 1898)*
John Calvin Moore (1852 - 1938)*
Margaret Elizabeth Moore Powell (1853 - 1937)*
Albert Clinton Moore (1855 - 1940)*
Alice Siddie Moore Bryant (1867 - 1952)*
.....as others are verified, I will add them here.

On 17 Sep 1885, Ida married William Henry Blankinship in Gibson County, TN. Howard Moore Blankinship, their only child, was born a year later. Henry died after they had only been married about 10 years and Ida never remarried. She was left to raise a son alone. After he was grown, he lived with her and took care of her. Ida is my great grand aunt.

May you be in eternal peace aunt Ida....
