RIGBY, June 4 -- Nola A. Dixon, 67, died at Ashton Memorial Hospital Thursday following a short illness.
Mrs. Dixon was born Jan. 19, 1903 at Teton City, the daughter of John Rial Allen and Elsie Bright Allen.
On Sept. 23, 1920, she was married to Paul A. Dixon in Idaho Falls. The marriage was later solemnized at the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.
She had resided in Idaho most of her life. She was active in the LDS Church, having been a Primary and Relief Society teacher and was secretary of the Relief Society.
She had resided at Fort Bragg, Calif.; Ririe, Rexburg, and Craig, Colo., Salt Lake City, Utah, and Rigby.
Surviving are her widower, Paul A. Dixon, Rigby; a son, Allen Dixon, Rigby; two daughters: Mrs. Elmo (Rowena) Killian, Lewisville, and Mrs. Harold (Jean) Rasmussen, Odgen, Utah. Also, two sisters, Mrs. A. Vernon (Ruey) Ball, Lewisville, and Mrs. Bill (Zora) Overstreet, Nyssa, Ore.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Leta Allen.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Eckersell Memorial Chapel, Rigby, Bishop M. Clyde Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Eckersell Chapel Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
