Through my research I believe the parents' information is incorrect on the death certificate. I believe the correct parents are David Sands Colvin and Harriet Dillabaugh. This Charles is buried next to Mary Sessions, who was his wife. David & Harriet did have a son, Charles Reuben Colvin, per census records. After David Sands' death, Harriet married David Markham so perhaps that is where the erroneous information originated.

According to film 026,401 Payson, Utah,[record of mbrs. 1855-1871 #50, page 29][Family History Library] his birth date was 5 September 1868 in Payson, Utah.

He married Mary Elizabeth Gwilliam, daughter of Henry Beynon Humphries Gwilliam and Mary Ann Williams. Charles and Mary had five children: Charles Edward, Stella Mary, David Franklin, William Wilford and Ethel Rhea.
