Rev Robert Gray (1761-1822).
h/o Eleanor Gordon Pitt, had two known children;
Birth: 2nd of three known children in Wichita, Sedgwick county, Kansas, following parents living at Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri for nearly nine years.
"Russ" attended Gilman Country School of Baltimore, Maryland and Princeton University with brother Howard "Howdie" Kramer, lived at Thomaston, Knox county, Maine for six years in house his mother last lived in, 25, now 64 Hyler street, building boats near the old Upper Toll Bridge, including M/V HARRIETTE II for his parents, last surviving son, handling his widowed mother's affairs at her demise, sending my inheritance from aunt Harriette. Buried with parents, wife and son in Druid Ridge cemetery, Baltimore.
He had built boats in Maine then Liberty ships for the Navy in Superior, Douglas county, Wisconsin, - seven yard craft for the US Navy during WWII. These were covered lighters about 200 feet long and perhaps 50 feet wide. Unfortunately the Naval photo archives had no photos of any of them - though they do of similar craft built elsewhere. .

Daughter: Eleanor Howard (Gray) Knutson (1923-1994), born Maine, died in Minnesota, ashes are interred in the Garth (garden) of The House of Hope Presbyterian Church in Saint Paul, Ramsey county, Minnesota.
Son: Russell Davis, jr (1925-1926), born & died in Thomaston, Knox county, Maine, buried in Druid Ridge cemetery, Baltimore.
