Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Crossland Memorial Baptist Church in Rowesville, with the Rev. Harold Mimms and the Rev. Bobby Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg, directed by Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Orangeburg.
Active pallbearers will be Raiford Fairey, Curtis Wannamaker, Coleman Franks, Tommy Colson, Billy Huff and Wesley Huff.
Mr. Antley was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Orangeburg County, the son of the late Cecil Antley and the late Katherine Easterlin Antley. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran. He was a member of Crossland Memorial Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and church superintendent. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eugenia Singletary, and two brothers, Cecil Antley and Frank Antley.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maude Edgemon Antley of Rowesville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Raiford (Betty) Fairey of Orangeburg, Mrs. Russell (Tina) Pendarvis of Rowesville; four grandchildren, Crystal Wannamaker, Brenda Franks, Victoria Pendarvis and Elica Peth; a great-grand, Colby Franks; two sisters, Fran Colson and Nellie Huff; and a number of nieces and nephews.
