Richard Joseph Kingston, Sr. On May 20, 1981.
(Capt. Ret.) U. S. Army. Age 66. Of Wil-
liamstown, N. J. Formerly of Phila. and
Pennsauken. Survived by his wife Mary
Florence (nee Baldwin), son Richard
Joseph, Jr., Thomas James and grandson
Richard Joseph III. He served in the mili-
tary for 30 years, was a veteran of 3 wars,
World War II, Korean and Vietnam. His
active duty assignments included serving
as a glider pilot and flight officer Euro-
pean Theater World War II. His awards
included the Bronze Star, the EAME
Theater Ribbon, American Campaign
Ribbon, Victory Medal WW II, Korean Ser-
vice Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal, and
the Medal of Appreciation from the Dept.
of the Army. His last assignment was
Command Maintenance Inspection Team
U. S. 6th Army, Fort Ord, Calif. Mass was
said in Fort Myers, Maryland.[Should be Ft. Myer, Va.] He
received a full military funeral. Interment
was held in Arlington National Cemetery,
Washington, D.C.
