PROSPECT HILL - Shelby Joann Jackson Clayton, 60, of 235 Carver Road died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at her home.
The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 1999 in the Lea Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Thomas Elliott and the Rev. Claude Harrelson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born in Rockingham Co. to the late Bun and Beatrice Smith Jackson. Mrs. Clayton was wife of the late Allen Yancey Clayton. She was a member of the Lea Bethel Baptist Church of Prospect Hill.
Surviving are six daughters, two sons, five brothers, four sisters, 26 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
