She attended rural country school and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1956. She worked at the Point restaurant for many years and also the Hastings bus company.
She married her husband Edward Parkin February 14, 1992. They celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary this year. She was a member of St. Phillips Church in Hastings. Sharon loved her horses and enjoyed riding and camping with her family.
She and her husband loved to travel. She loved to quilt, garden and play cards.
She is survived by her husband, 4 children, one daughter-in-law, 2 brothers, many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Sister Marlene Gray and her husband Robert, infant brother Ronald, son Jeffrey Tukua and grandson Robbie Wolterstorff.
